Senior Field Agronomist & Technical Lead
Lead farmer demonstration trials, field days, and dealer technical trainings. Provide real-time pest diagnosis and seed rate guidance to commercial farmers.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct 50+ on-farm hybrid seed demonstration plots per crop season.
- Organize dealer-farmer interactive knowledge sessions and field days.
- Liaise with agricultural universities and Krishi Vigyan Kendras (KVKs).
- Provide emergency pest & disease advisory via WhatsApp Farmer Care hotline.
Requirements & Profile:
- Fluent in Telugu and English (Hindi is a plus).
- Strong diagnostic knowledge of Telangana paddy and maize cropping systems.
- Valid two-wheeler/four-wheeler driving license for extensive field mobility.
Seed Quality Assurance & Testing Officer
Oversee lot sampling, germination testing chamber operations, physical purity assessments, and moisture barrier sealing compliance as per Indian seed quality standards.
Key Responsibilities:
- Execute standard germination, vigour index, and tetrazolium test protocols on every incoming and processing lot.
- Maintain laboratory logs and interface with state seed certification inspectors.
- Manage seed moisture monitoring before bulk and retail packaging lines.
Requirements & Profile:
- Hands-on expertise in ISTA / Indian Minimum Seed Certification Standards (IMSCS).
- Rigorous attention to detail and precision documentation capabilities.
Territory Sales Executive — Retail Dealer Network
Expand VPL Agro authorized dealer and stockist footprint. Drive seasonal seed placement, secondary order bookings, and retail brand visibility.
Key Responsibilities:
- Appoint verified retail seed stockists across assigned mandals.
- Achieve Kharif and Rabi hybrid paddy, maize, and mustard volume targets.
- Ensure timely dispatch logistics and payment reconciliations.
Requirements & Profile:
- Existing network with Telangana agri-retailers and fertilizer dealers.
- Strong negotiation, target orientation, and interpersonal skills.
